Regional apprenticeships
Tools, PPE and travel support so regional school-leavers can take up automotive, carpentry and electrical trades without moving cities.
Defaiflo Lotteries operates under Australian raffle rules. Entries are only available to residents aged 18 and older.
Defaiflo Lotteries started after our founder watched one too many neighbours put off renewing their tool kit, postponing a family holiday or delaying a house repair. We wanted to run a straightforward Australian raffle that mixed a proper "have a crack" prize with a tangible community contribution.
Today the Coastal GT Dream Car draw is our headline act, backed by the fortnightly Cash Boost raffle. Every ticket keeps the lights on at the Defaiflo Community Trust — a small-but-mighty outfit that quietly co-funds trade apprenticeships, youth mentorship and emergency housing projects across Queensland and New South Wales.
Our community partners change year to year, but the focus stays fixed: practical, local outcomes that ripple outwards.

Small cohorts, local mentors, proper outcomes. We co-fund three multi-year mentorship programs operating across QLD and NSW.
Short-term accommodation and wraparound support for families navigating sudden housing loss, delivered by established local providers.
Small grants to community centres and sporting clubs that need a roof patched, a kitchen refurbished or a minibus serviced.
Our small team is based in Brisbane and Newcastle. Pick up the phone or send an email — we'll always reply personally.
